What Causes Frequent Headaches And Swelling In Nuchal Area?

6 months ago I started having more frequent headaches than usual, but tolerable in pain and duration. one month ago they became daily but tolerable. two weeks ago my nuchal bone was swollen on the right side of my head, then swelling moved to other parts of my head and the headaches continued. doctphor said swollen lymhnodes. one week ago, swelling disappeared on the right nuchal bone and now on the left. headaches became severely painful in the eyes to the point of not being able to function. headaches are constant with 3 horrible ones/day mostly at night. I get chills when the bad headaches occur and have sensitivity to light. have received blood tests, ekg, contrast mri all showing normal. I am a 44 yr old male. could this be an infection that has gotten to my lymphnodes and sinuses? I have food allergies. could this be brought on by my recent eating of hazelnut(1 month ago) is this from poor eyesight, which I notice has become a problem when reading small print? what avenue should I pursue?
