Hi,I am Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
If I eat fish at lunch time by the evening I have this fishy smell down below. I went to the doctors previously thinking I had BV, to which they provided antibiotics for even tho there was apparently no smell present at this time. Iv only noticed these changes in body odour after eating fish since I had my coil fitted a few years ago. Is this normal? Help Kind regards
The symptoms are more consistent with infective causes like yeast or bacterial vaginosis. Consult a gynecologist and plan for a vaginal swab to confirm the diagnosis. As of now you can use clotrimazole lotion to cleanse your genitals.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
