Two weeks ago i went for a 3 mile walk,the next day i had got a pain on the top of my right foot.when i am standing still it seems ok but when i start to walk i seem to get a pain at the top of my foot,this also happens when i am standing and i curl my toes slightly upward.What advice could you give Many thanks Pete Docherty.
It is due to local inflammation due to prolonged weight. Another possibility is conditions like plantar fasciitis.
As first-line management, you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief. If symptoms persist you can consult an orthopaedician and plan for a steroid injection to the sole.
