What Causes Fluttery Feeling In Diaphragm Area?

i have this fluttery feeling in my diaphragm area? It only last a few seconds but it scares me a bit. I have been struggling with anxiety but have seen the cardiologist and had an EKG which was normal. Could this just be from reflux. I took some alka sertzer with simethicone in it. Wondering if I should be concerned

Hi,
Welcome to health care magic,

This fluttering feeling could be anxiety related or stress or yes it could be related to gastric reflux.

If this is not troublesome then you can take symptomatic treatment like ,

1) Proton pump inhibitors (pantoprazole 40 or rabeprazole 20) twice daily.
2) H2 blockers like Rantac 150 can also be taken.
3) Syrup digene 2 TSF three times a day if there is acidity.
4) Ondasetron 4mg twice daily

If your doctor has taken EKG and if it was okay then you do not need to be worried.

Moslty this symptoms may get subsided by symptomatic treatment.

Consult local physician if symptoms persist or appear again.

Regards,
