What causes fluid discharge from the nipples?

Today I noticed that my nipples are sensitive which is odd for me and I decided to examine them. After lifting my shirt and sports bra I noticed a sweet scent, and concluded it was coming from my nipple area. I then decided to lightly squeeze my nipples and fluid was excreted. Fluid was a watery/oily consistency and clear in color. I ve never had this happen before. What could be the possible causes? I am currently 23 years old, and trying to conceive. Recent labs done (1/17) include TSH+FREE T4, CBC, Lipid Panel, and Comprehensive Metabolic Panel; all within normal ranges.

Hi, I think you should do a serum prolactin level. Sometimes high prolactin level can lead to breast discharge. Sometimes there is no cause of this. Medicines are available for treatment. If you have not got your periods in time, do a pregnancy test at home. It can happen due to pregnancy also.
