Pus cells 10-12/hpf in urine indicate urinary tract infection which is the possible source of the fevers the child is suffering from. You need to take it on a serious note and visit a doctor and get it treated with a full course of antibiotics. Pus cells are basically white blood cells that have died in the process of fighting the infection in an effort to control it. It is not the pus cells but rather the infection that has negative effects on the health of the individual.
