What Causes Fever, Headaches And No Bowel Movements For Two Weeks Despite Medication?

hi.. i am having a fever for two weeks already and i ate the medicines by following the prescriptions. But, my fever seems to stay the same and i also have a terrible headache sometimes. Plus, its been two weeks since the last time i poop and when i go to the toilet to excrete only clear water comes out. Can i know what is happening to me?

Hi,
I have gone through your query and I can understand your concerns.
If I were your family doctor,I would do a detailed clinical examination and a battery of investigations to find out exact cause of your problem.
As per your clinical history my first and most probable working diagnosis would be dysentery(Inflammation of intestinal tract usually caused by contaminated food or water).I would take travel history and diet history to check whether you had any recent travel to infection prone area like slums or you had any contaminated food stuffs.I would also do stool routine examination to detect the presence of pathogen.
I suggest you to consult a physician and you might require a short course of antibiotics empirically.He may do base line investigation like stool examination and sometime you may require an endoscopy to rule out other causes.
