What Causes Fever And Sore Throat Along With White Spots?

Dear Doc, I have sore throat since one month. However, everytime I went to doctor i got antibiotics and was cured for 1 week and then refell ill. This happened twice. First time Doctor gave me antibiotic name zinnat, second time after two weeks after refalling ill i got zithromax. The third time Doc did h1n1 test, was negative. (blood report attached) and got prescribed augmentin in he meantime but still in vain.. Now am awaiting for a throat swab test to confirm exact problem. My question is why after taking so many antibiotics my throat is still sore and i have white spots all over at the back of my throat? Shouldn t the antibiotics have cured the sore throat? I am getting worried. Please advise...Throat is painful, i have fever every 5-6 hours, there was pains but now its gone. I only have the sore throat with white spots and fever from time to time. Is there any cure after taking all antibiotics that i know exist ot i have contracted a much more serious problem? Apart from the fever and sore throats and some difficulty in breathing and fatigue i do not have any other symptioms.

Hi,
Welcome to Healthcaremagic.com.

I had gone through your question I can understand your concern about your sore throat.

As per your history and too much antibiotics it seems to me that you may be having fungal infection of throat, it can be bacterial too.

You need to get a swab test done for both bacterial well as fungus.
Also take anti allergic medication after consulting your doctor.
Avoid late night drinks and meals too, because some times regurgitation can also become cause of recurrent throat infections.

Hope my answer will help you and visit us back if you have any further questions.

Regards
Dr Muzaffer Hussain Parray.
