Hello, I am female, 24 years old, 106 pounds and not in good health right now. Last November, I got very sick. I swallowed and it felt like I was choking. This happened once or twice, and then I got very sick for a week. I never found out what it was, but I did get better. Fast forward to 2015 June/July, and I had a problem getting my sleep meds and went into withdrawal, and got sick. Even after I got my meds back, I didn t feel so well, but was able to function again. Then, about two weeks ago, I got a low grade fever which lasted for two days So. now, mid July, I have been getting sick off and on ever since the fever. I feel nauseous, dizzy, weak. However, the worst is that my mouth gets so dry it is hard to swallow, not to the point where I feel like I m choking, but it makes me so scared that that will happen again. Whatever happened last November is the scariest, worst thing that ever happened to me. Also. I drink a lot of water, both because of my job and because I like caffeine free tea. I have also lost a LOT of weight, going from 117 or so to 106 within only a few weeks. I eat healthy, don t eat fast food, and drink little soda. Which is another thing. Yesterday, I felt pretty well during the day. However, in the evening, I tried to eat some rather dry meatloaf and felt a little sick. A little later, I took a sip of soda and suddenly felt very sick, dry mouth, dizzy. This lasted for hours until I finally fell asleep. Now, this morning, I have a very dry mouth and have a slight stomach ache. I am also afraid to eat, in case it makes me feel like the meatloaf did. I am waiting for my doctor to come back from vacation before I go to see her. Until then, I was wondering if anyone had any ideas? Anything? I am getting very scared that there is something wrong with me. Does this sound familiar to anyone?
