What Causes Fever Along With Body Ache And Chills?

Hi I have had fever, body aches including headaches with chills and night sweats, but no signs of respstory infection, no cough, no runny nose etc. And now about 30 hours later it is completely gone. My main concern is that my granddaughter will be over here this weekend and I want to make sure I am no longer contagious as she is only 10 months old. What did I have and am I contagious?

Hi,

Although you don't have any sign of respiratory infection this may be a cold or flu and you may develop them later.

You may be contagious for 5 days of no symptoms.
