Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello, My husband may have pulled or torn the muscle running through his forearm at work today. It is swollen and feels like a big know. He says it feels hot and like its burning. He doesn t complain about pain very often so I am really concerned. I took his temperature after seeing on Webmd that a fever is a bad sign after a muscle injury. Can you tell me what possible danger he could be in and whether we need to go to the ER or not? We live a long way from a hospital and there is no doctors office open until Monday. Thank you, Jenny Stanhope YYYY@YYYY
