What Causes Fatigue, Hair Loss And Weight Loss Along With Hashimotos?

Hi. So I am 19 years old and have Hashimotos. I am currently taking 110mg of synthroid and 25mg 2x a day of ly(I don t remember the name but it is the T3 medicine). I have struggled with fatigue, hair loss, and weight loss since I was diagnosed in 2011, and even though my levels seem fine the doctor keeps upping my dosage. I feel no different though. About a month ago I got frustrated and starting taking extra pills that I had lying around to see if it could help my symptoms. However, not a single thing happened, so I am not sure what that means.

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.

You have fatigue, hair loss and weight loss. You have hashimotos thyroiditis.
You need thyroid hormone replacement therapy. You are taking it. but you should regularly check your T3, T4 and TSH level and set the dosage accordingly. Weight loss is not due to hypothyroidism. It can be due to drug over dosage or some other reason. So consult your doctor and set dosage accordingly.
