What Causes Fatigue And High BP While Suffering From COPD?
Hi i ha e concerns about my mothers health she has copd and has heart problems she has been slugish for the past 3 days she just informed me she layed on her bed and passed out so i checked her blood pressure and it was 139/73 and her pluse was 65 is there any thing i need to be concerned about?

Hello,
COPD patients may usually develop right heart failure which is called as cor pulmonale.
Causes for passed out is probably hypoxia or respiratory failure or CO2 narcosis etc.
Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.
Please get it done an echocardiogram, ECG and pulmonary function tests.
Check it out for heart failure.
Please consult your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.
