What Causes Facial Itchiness After Using Keflex And Bactrim?

I was diagnosed with facial cellulitis yesterday. I am on Keflex and Bactrim. This morning my face started itching. It unbearable now. It only itches in the inflamed areas. Now where else on my body. i have tried Benadryl, cool compresses, ice, warm compresses, OTC cortisone cream (1%). I am at my whits end. I can t sleep. HELP! This is the worse itching I ve ever experienced.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Both the medications you mention are antibiotics which are given for cellulitis. I don’t think the itching is related to use of antibiotics.
You can use, Alokem gel with Calamine lotion, mix both n apply 2-3 times per day.
Tab Vozet two times per day (you might feel sleepy).
If condition aggravate then visit your physician.
