What Causes Eye Pain And Vomiting In A Child?

My 8 year old son s left eye keeps hurting that is followed by feeling sick and throwing up. This does not occur everyday. The throwing up does not happen right after his eye starts hurting. His eyes are not blood shot and there is no dizziness or lack of mental clarity. Afterwards he feels fine.

Migraine, glaucoma etc are some possibilities.
