General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Pain during sexual intercourse is very common in postmenopausal females and it is due to depleting estrogen levels causing vaginal dryness. You can take NSAID drugs like Advil for pain, use lubricating jelly or visit your gynecologist for hormone replacement therapy.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr AJEET SINGH, General & Family Physician
