What Causes Extreme Sleepiness Post Metformin Withdrawal?

i am constantly sleepy all day. I had my tubes tied 15 years ago and just finished my cycle,went to the doctors 2 weeks ago for my routine diabetes check up. A1c has been good for the last 6 months it has been consistent and controlled. The doctor took me off my Metformin I have been terribly sleepy i can sleep over 5 - 8 hours what else could it be?

Re check your blood glucose. Maybe it has gone up again after Metformin withdrawal If you were on more than one tablet of metformin,
