What Causes Extreme, Painful Swelling In Lymph Nodes Before Periods?

My Lymph nodes swell to a very large size and become extremely painful like my breasts before my cycle starts. It has been going on for a few years now. It is always a sign that I will start my cycle. They are very large round lumps under my arms. Sometimes they are so sore that they are painful to touch. i had a mammogram and everything showed normal and they weren t swollen during the mammogram. Should I be concerned?

Hi

No, this is normal and is nothing to worry about. many women experience this very same thing and it has been found to be normal for most women. Those who showed concerning other symptoms underwent an ultrasound or mammogram which helps in ruling out other concerning causes. As you had one, I don't see any cause for concern.

Best wishes
