What Causes Extreme Pain In Stomach After Consuming Alcohol?

Hello, I am about to turn 22 in 2 months. I am a female and I have been drinking alcohol since I was 18. I am an experienced drinker. I am extremely healthy for my age. I have a 16.1% body fat. I work out everyday, drink lots of water, and I eat healthy. No Mcdonalds or TacoBell for me. For the past month any alcohol or beer I drink stays in my body for as long as I allow it. After a few hours of slow passed drinking I start to feel the need to throw up. (Which in my case is rare, I never throw up) Usually I make it home and don t throw up till the next morning when I wake up to the feeling of needing to rid everything inside of my stomach. It has only gotten worse. Now after just a few mixed drinks (because heavy alcohols have been making me sick I have started to choose lighter drinks) that only give me a little buzz I am able to not feel like throwing up, but by the next morning I experience extreme pain in my stomach. As if it was on fire, this pain can last anywhere from 1 to 4 hours. This has never happened to me before, and Im not sure why it is happening. Can you help me?

1. Since use of alcohol in long run is associated with alcohol intolerance, pancreas inflammation, peptic ulcer, damage to protective epithelial lining of the stomach, gastritis, thus could be possible cause(s) of your problem.

2. best preventive measure is to avoid/stop alcohol intake but to prevent withdrawal symptoms initially:
. take some light meals before drinking which will prevent absorption of alcohol.
. limit yourself to drink per hour.
. scotch, bourbon, brandy, red wine, tequila, and dark colored beer have high alcohol content thus avoid them.
. Taking a glass of water after each drink maintains the body's hydration and prevents stomach upsets.
