What Causes Extreme Lightheadedness, Pressure Feeling In The Forehead And Head Sweating?

My daughter experienced sudden extreme light-headedness, pressure in her forehead and clammy head and neck. This lasted about 10 minutes. She drank water and the light-headedness went away but the pressure in her head continued. Later we also noticed that her fingernails were a blue color. The next day she experienced the light-head and pressure feeling again.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello there. I have read through your question and can understand your concern. Sudden episodes of dizziness along with peripheral cyanosis indicate s that she is having hypoxemic episodes. It can be due to an underlying cardiac problem. I would advise you to get her Echocardiography done to rule out any defect. Also get her complete blood profile done including Haemoglobin test. I hope that answers your question. If you have any further questions please feel free to write.
I find this answer helpful
