Hello I have notice my son is not keeping up with his team mates on the basketball court. He is more fatique than the other kids. By the way, my son is 15 years old. When he last visited the pediatric doctor. She told us maybe he had an increase in weigh therefore he was carrying more weigh. We decided to have him stop eating out the best we can. Occasionally he still eats fast food because he needs food after his basketball games. He weight 173 pounds when he visited the doctor a month ago. But now since he is not eating fast food he is down to 158 pounds. But he is still fatigue on the court. We encourage him to drink plenty of water during the day, before and after practice and when he has games. and we give him pregame snaps, (peanut butter, gapes, and so on). But I am still concern. I was going to return back to the pediatric. But I read a recent question about someone having the same concerns. It appears we need to take him to an Endocrinologist. What are your thoughts?
