General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The extra nail has to be removed, otherwise, it causes infection and abscess formation.

Consult a general surgeon and get evaluated.

Nothing much to worry as it can be done under local anesthesia.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
