What Causes Exhaustion And Nausea After Unprotected Intercourse?

I am a 50 year old woman. I had unprotected sex 3 days ago. Last night I started having bad cramps, I feel exhausted, and nauseous. I also have a mass above my cervix that I will be getting surgery for in a few weeks. How likely is it that I am pregnant?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Feeling exhausted and nauseous is not related to unprotected sex you had 3 days ago, I do not think you're pregnant neither.

To me, it's due to the mass you have above your cervix. The intravaginal intercourse might have placed a bit of trauma on that causing this reaction to you.

Anyway, if still monthly bleeding, and if the next periods will delay, please take a pregnancy test 10 days after the last due date.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
