What Causes Excessive Weight Loss And Abdominal Pain?

I ve been losing weight at a rapid pace over the last two months and have been having abdominal pain and pelvic along with really bad back pain. And there is this swollen lump on the left side of my neck and right on my collar bones. Went to the hospital to get checked for something serious and all they did was take x rays of my chest and found nothing. and a complete blood count and found that my white cell count is a bit elevated. and took a urine test and found nothing. But I m still afraid that I have something wrong with me because I still dont have an appetite and now recently over the past few days I ve been having pain in and around the shoulder blades. I m just at a loss of what to do next. Thinking about going back to the hospital again but not sure

Hello,

In my opinion, you should get done FNAC (fine needle aspiration cytology) from enlarged cervical lymph nodes to rule out tuberculosis. You should also get done an ultrasound or CT scan of the abdomen to find out the abdominal cause for your pain.

If all these are normal, then no need to worry much. Sometimes undiagnosed stress can also cause weight loss. To avoid stress and tension, be relax and calm. Eat healthy foods like fruits, vegetables, and pulses.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
