General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Persistent vaginal discharge at the age of 4 years is a clinically demanding and warranting issue. There can be grave pathologic conditions such as
- Ovarian tumors secreting hormones
- Untreated or uncontrolled pelvic infections
- Sexual abuse in some cases
- Lack of hygiene care in selected cases

However, if her work up with lab and radiology as ultrasound or MRI findings are available, I can guide you further precisely after evaluation of the same for the possible differential diagnosis of the issue.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
