What Causes Excessive Sweating, Fever And Shivering After Taking Augmentin?

I was diagnosed with chlorosis is two weeks ago gp started me on high dose augmenten. symptoms got worse over the week high temps shivering sweats. she then decided to send me for an X ray of the chest . Itsounded clear but iIgot a call to say iI ve got consolidation in tthe upper lobe of right lung . so now I mon my third antibiotic sstill have the shivers and sweats esp early morning can you help me. I feel so tired I ve three children under five and I feel like I m about to collapse iI m so tired all the tine

Hello,

Shivers and sweats despite taking antibiotic suggests that infection is still present in lungs leading to consolidation. The antibiotic may have to be changed or to be continued till infections resolves.
