What Causes Chills And Excessive Sweating?

since monday i have been having chills in the late afternoon. my body feels hot like i need to sweat off a fever. i go to bed and sometimes it sweats off. i had chills and fever yesterdaY . i came home a went to bed after taking 2 tylenols. i got up at 7:30 pm wet and i changed clothes and ate. i had some sweats the same night when i went to bed . before yesterday it was only after i went to bed it happened. today i have a mild fever but so far no chills.

Fever with chills is usually due to an infection present in body.
You need to show to physician for detailed medical history and proper physical examination.
Certain blood investigations will be necessary like basic haemogram,peripheral smear for Malaria,Widal test for typhoid and urine test for urinary infection.
Some specific tests may be needed depending upon your physical examination and area you are resident of.
Further management depends upon diagnosis.
May require antibiotic course of 7-10 days.
Can take paracetamol with nimesulide or any pain killer combination tablet 2-3 times a day for high grade fever.
Have plenty of fluids to maintain body hydration.
Have adequate rest.
