General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

From your description, I am of the opinion that it's your own strength that will be useful to make you come out of such depression. Medications such as Effexor (venlafaxine) and sertraline would be useful to deal with acute symptoms. But behavioural therapy is the ultimate solution. Living with family, having positive thoughts, positive routine, never be alone, love etc will help you.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ashish Ranjan, General & Family Physician
