What Causes Excessive Bloating After Eating While Having Diabetes?

It seems that most everything I eat causes excessive bloating. The only meal that seems to have no affect is breakfast, which may only be a biscuit. I cannot isolate it to grains, fruits or vegetables, or dairy; but seems more prevalent in the evening. The food baby is uncomfortable and makes it difficult to rest at night. It can cause pressure under my upper left breast that seems knot and cause severe pain at times to the point that I have to throw up to relieve the pressure to rid the pain. I am 53, 5 2 , and 155lbs. Other than being diabetic, controlled by a Glocophage 500 daily, I have no other known problems.

Diabetologist 's  Response
Dear Madam,
Some people tend to develop Acid peptic disease while taking metformin. Most of your symptoms will be relived by taking glucophage after food. If there is no relief you can try pantoprazole 40mg for a week to 10days. I am sure you will be much more comfortable and you can sleep calmly.
Hopefully i have answered your query.
