What Causes Excess Vaginal Bleeding And Tissue Like Discharge After Having Sex?

I recently lost my virginity and we had done it twice the morning before and that night we did again and there was a substancial amount of bleeding and then some discharge that looked like tissue. I was a little freaked out but the bleeding stopped after only a few minutes...should I be worried?

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Bleeding after having sex could be due to rupture of the hymen.
The hymen may not rupture during first intercourse ,thus, it is possible for the hymen to break during subsequent intercourse.
Passage of discharge is expected after sex and this is due to congestion of pelvic organs.
If the bleeding occurs in future also then you need to consult your gynecologist for clinical assessment to look for the cause of bleeding.

Thanks and take care
