What Causes Excess Sleep And Persistent Cough While On Hydralazine?
Hydralazine tablet (10mg) was prescribed by my doctor after being diagnosed with COPD (Cogestive Heart failure). He is a heart specialist but I find this medication makes me sleepy, sluggish and I constantly have a cough. What would happen if I stopped taking this medication? I am prescribed to take it 4 times daily.

Hydralazine is used as antihypertensive drug it acts by causing peripheral vasodilation so it is likely to cause certain sideeffects which includes cough and also known to cause drowsiness. If the symptoms are annoying then consult your doctor and you can get change to another group of drug.
