Hello,

Sinus infection leads to continuous drainage if mucous which is produced in the sinus cavity into throat lead to sputum production. It may be due to
Infection or
Allergy
Anatomical defects in septal or cavity
Polyps etcetera.

Until the complete examination, it is difficult to say what it is. Avoid allergen and cool water. Avoid smoking and alcohol. Use saltwater gargling and water vapor inhalation thrice a day for five days. If symptoms not improved, please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
