Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a swollen (inflamed) frenulum that occurred while having anal sex when I noticed the foreskin was pushed back to much. I now have trouble keeping an erection. Is this curable over time ? May I have damaged other nerves that prevent me from keeping an erection ?
I have read your question in detail and will try to help you in the best way possible.
Erectyle dysfuction after anal intercourse in itself does not cause erectile dysfunction unless there is an injury during the sexual activity. Best way to find out if there really is erectile dysfunction is to see for morning erections. That is done by tenesmence tape around the penis and checking it in the morning to see if erections have occured in the early morning. If there are erections then it is probebly psychological and you should find ways to enjoy sexual activity with your partner or do a foreplay before intercourse. If the tests shows no erections then it is very important to do a complete workup. Some drugs can cause this too so dont forget to mention if u r taking any medications.
I hope this answered all your queries, if you have more queries,I will be happy to answer.
Wish you the best of health.
Regards.
