What Causes Enlargement Of Vas Deferens Post Vasectomy?

I had my vasectomy done June 29th of this year over all the recovery so far has been a breeze. My only concern is on one side it feels like the entire vas deferens has become enlarged is this something that should be looked at or something that will eventually go back to normal?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my surgical experience, the internal healing of vasectomy surgery takes around 2-3 weeks to resolve normal tissue architecture.

If beyond this period, there is any obvious fullness over the root of scrotum or around pubic tubercle, I request to discuss the issue with the surgeon and get a Doppler ultrasound evaluation of the area.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Wishing you all the best.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
