Hello,

Enlarged spleen commonly occur due to infections(mononucleosis, etc), abnormal blood flow and congestion (spleinic vein thrombosis, etc), liver diseases, cirrhosis, inflammatory disease (Lupus, RA). It can be treated with medications or surgery if needed. Polyps or pseudo-polyps on gallbladder are due to cholesterol deposits or inflammation. These cholesterol filled growths may lead to chronic choleycystitis if left untreated. Treatment is choleycystectomy. The two conditions may or may not be connected (enlarged spleen can be caused by gall stone, cyst, polyp issues or liver disorders). Get him treated at the earliest.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
