Hello and welcome to HCM,
Prostatic enlargement is a disease of middle aged men.
It is unlikely to have a prostatic enlargement at age of 27.
Decrease in size of the prostate after medication suggests that the prostatic enlargement was inflammatory.
Was there a history of infection or inflammation in the prostate.
You can get PSA levels done.
PSA is increased in inflammatory conditions and in benign enlargements.
Since, benign prostatic enlargement is testosterone responsive neoplasm, you can get levels of testosterone done.
You can consult your doctor for review of these results.

Thanks and take care
