What Causes Enlarged Lump In Neck Under The Base Of Skull?
Hi, I have an enlarged lump in my neck under the base of my skull on the left side. It has been there for a few months now. It seems to increase or shrink from time to time. At this time it is irritated and somewhat sore. Any ideas or commonalities? Thanks

It can be enlarged lymph nodes or it may be a an infection of the base of mouth. Other possibility is thyroid gland enlargement.
