Brief Answer:
You need to do further examinations.
You should see a gastroenterologist.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for using HCM.
High cholesterol levels may be due to unbalanced diet and lack of physical activity. High cholesterol level, for themselfes, may be one of the causes of high level of SGOT and SGPT, and the most probable cause in your case. This is so called "NASH syndrome", which means "non alcoholic steatohepatitis" or a condition called “fatty liver.” . This should be confirmed by undergoing an abdominal ultrasound to see the liver structure and dimensions in way to reach a more accurate diagnosis. A hepatic elastography, would be useful as it is the recommended imaging exam to evaluate the grade of steatosis (fat in the liver) .
If NASH is confirmed, in addition to lyfestyle changes, you may receive a farmacologic treatment with statins (lipid lowering drugs), such as atorvastatin, pravastatin, or rosuvastatin which are found to be both effective and safe in NASH patients with hyperlipidemia .

Even though, is necessary to make further laboratory tests to exclude viral infections (Hepatitis B, C), or autoimmune disorders too, guided by a gastroenterologist.

Meanwhile do not consume alcohol and don't use medications that may harm liver such as paracetamol, nitrofurantoine (antibiotic) , augmentin (antibiotic). Try to reduce your weight (if obese or overweight), follow a balanced and healthy diet, increase physical activity into at least three days a week, for at least 40 minutes.

Hope this is helpful.
