What Causes Elevated Liver Enzymes?

I m 20 years old.I had fever for last 3 days.and I took a liver function test; my sgot is 229.3 and sgpt 341.1.I had hepatitis.c last September. I have doubt dat I took it i pills 2 times this month.is dis the reason for increase in sgot and sgpt??can doctors find out if took i pills???

I have read and understood your concern.Sorry to hear you are suffering from hepatitis C.
Elevated liver functions are common with viral hepatitis infection especially if infection not well controlled.I will suggest you see your Hepato-gastrologist for evaluation and tests.Tests that may help may include: abdominal ultrasound and a viral load if possible. I pill may not give you such a presentation or take your liver enzymes that high.
