What Causes Elevated Liver Enzymes In Pregnancy?

Hi my wife is 9 month of pregnant Yesterday when we wet to her gyne, my wife told her that shes still has a vomit problem so for that her gyne suggest her to go for liver test Today we have a report in our hand and it shows that the sgot 126 and sgpt 113 level high Now i am worried whats the cause of this increase level of sgot and sgpt and this is a serious problem Please tell me

Hello ma'am and welcome.

The first thing I would recommend is a visit to the doctor to check on your blood pressure and blood platelet count. If at all these two have returned normal values, then there is nothing to worry about and once you deliver, which is sometime around the corner, everything should normalise soon. Rule out HELLP syndrome first.
