What Causes Elevated Creatinine Levels And Acid Reflux?

I was having a higher level of creatinine and my acid reflux has increased even though I am on meds. I have gained about 14 lbs without changing eating habbits and have been dizzy. One last weird thing, when I eat fruit I start to sweat and once I am finished, the feeling goes away

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Elevated creatinine level signifies impaired kidney function or kidney disease.

As the kidneys become impaired for any reason, the creatinine level in the blood will rise due to poor clearance of creatinine by the kidneys.

I suggest you do an ultrasound of the kidneys and see a nephrologist for further treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi
