What Causes Elevated Coumadin Levels?
Recently my Coumadin levels just way out of whack. I ve been on Coumadin since December 2006 and have never had an issue with my level going much higher or lower than what my doctor/cardiologist wants me to be (around at 2.6 protime level). A month ago that level spiked to a 5. I had no change in diet and couldn t think of anything other than my normal foods that I had eaten or drank. Any idea what might have caused the spike? I definitely want to keep my Coumadin level at its normal reading!
