What Causes Elevated Calcium And PTH Levels In Blood?

Hi I have high calcium and high PTH levels and am waiting to see an endicrinoligist in 6 weeks, is this normal to wait this long? also I have pain in my upper arm, feels like in humerous bone, only thinking that s where it is as I broke that bone when I was a child, is this connected?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and welcome.

Pain on and off in a region previously fractured is normal and can be seen at times, nothing to raise caution or be alarmed.

As for the endocrinologist consult it would be wiser to get evaluated earlier than 6 weeks to help initiate early control, but will not cause real harm if you do not get evaluated earlier either. I would recommend a consultation at your earliest convenience

Best wishes
