What Causes Electrical Shock Like Sensations In Chest?
What causes a very quick feeling of an electrical shock in chest/heart? This continued off and on for at least 30-45 minutes prior to getting out of bed this morning. I have been sick with a stomach flu and also the flu since Tuesday and I m on antibiotics????

chest pain in morning can be due to various reasons like gastritis , peptic ulcers, duodenal ulcers, or cardiac causes like angina , valvular heart diseases
you should consult a pulmonologist / cardiologist who can request for a 2 d echo cardiography to rule out the cardiac causes
