What Causes Dull Pain In Fingers Of A Rock Climber?

I am a 20 year rock climber and as the season has become more favorable my frequency of climbing has gradually increased from once a week to 2-3 x a weeks over the past 2 months. I notice a dull ache in my right ( Dominate) middle finger, between the finger and the hand , on the inside of the hand. It feels bruised. This has come on gradually in conjunction with the increase in climbing frequency. Can it be a bruise? Or could I have injured a tendon? Thanks

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Diarrhea can be sign of thyroid problem. Possibly taking more levothyroxine than needed can cause it. I think you should get checked your thyroid hormones.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka
