What Causes Dryness In Mouth With Severe Headache?

Hello, I have been feeling under the weather for a while now. Since yesterday, I went to sleep after my throat was dry, no matter how much water I drank. About in 5 in the morning, I woke up feeling hot, sweaty, and cold at the same time. After taking some medicine I slept until 4 in the afternoon. I drank a lot of tea, and didn t eat fatty foods. Every time I moved there was a killer headache, and I was coughing a lot. What does this mean?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
welcome to HCM,
Thank you for posting your query.
Your symptoms are suggestive of upper respiratory tract infection. Waking up from sleep feeling hot, sweaty and cold is due to fever with chills. Headaches are common in URTI.
Feeling under the weather for few days can be prodromal stage of infection.
I suggest you visit your physician to rule out the cause of infection, type of infection which determines the treatment you should get.
Hope this helps. Get well soon my friend.
