What Causes Dryness In Mouth And Pain In Tonsils?
Dear Doctor, I have strange symptoms i never had in my life. i was in china before almost 1 month,,, i came back from China with the symptoms of constant dry mouth, tonsils pain and enlargment, longer sleeping times and needs, general tiredness i am not taking any anti deppressant. i made general lab tests for blood and Uraine,,, there was a uraine infection but i took Cibropay 500 for the full course without any effect on my conditions,,, please advise such smptoms can be for what possible disease as it persists for more than month without being decreased,,,,appreciating your reponse in advance

Hi,
Noted your history of a return from China and getting dryness of throat and urinary tract infection treated but not cured.
Since the symptoms are of long duration I would advise you the following:
First of all the cause of dryness of throat and mouth needs to be found out like stomatitis or so and treated as per the cause found after consulting an ENT Surgeon.
Consult an Urologist for clinical evaluation as you already have completed the course of an antibiotic.
Test of urine for routine, microscopy, culture and sensitivity.
Ultrasound of abdomen for Genito-urinary system.
This will give the possible diagnosis so that a specific treatment can be done.
As for the oral problems sub-acute inflammation of the oral mucosal salivary gland or oral thrush is the commonest cause and will be treated after proper diagnosis.
