What Causes Drowsiness After Taking Denxit For Anxiety?

Hello Doctors, I have been using Cipralex 10mg for the past 3 years.. stopped it for a while and then I had a relapse regarding anxiety levels and fear so now I am on it again. Given that, my doctor prescribed me Denxit to take it at the same time with Cipralex, when I started complaining from IBS and Severe Nervousness. Is this mix making me sleepy and numb this whole time? And when should I stop Deanxit? Thank you in advance!

Cipralex is escitalopram and you are taking the dose since last 3 years. The medicines controlled anxiety but you still had nervousness and IBS. Deanxit is flupentixole and melitacen combination. The fixed dose combination is known to cause slight sedation. Escitalopram cause slight insomnia. So as per my opinion you can take escitalopram in morning time and deanxit in evening time, only after consultation of your psychiatrist.
Denaxit is a fixed dose combination and the combination has recently banned in some countries. I would advise you to visit your psychiatrist again for proper advise.
