Hello, Re blood during bowl movement- Im a 47 year white male. 200lbs 6ft. No major weight loss. weight at 20 145. 30 165. 40 s between 170-210 depending on diet. Few yrz ago went down to 170 after lost my daughter. Currently tryingbto improve diet and have lost aboyt 10 lbs in 1 1/2 months. Recently did a colon clemse with tgat warns if diahria to stopvtaking. No diahria. Just Hiked the grand canyon rim to rim. Cant recall any rectal bleeding. 1st bleeding 7-15-15 10pm-Normal stool with no changes, fever or pain. Stool itself looked normal no blood no dark color. after the stool (as it ended) bright red blood came out discoloring the water in the bowl. Visible also was a double clot or clumb of blood slightly darker, as if it had clotted somewhere and then the pressure of the movement dislodged it. On the paper therevwas also a clot that on examination was thick in texture as aclot might be. minimal blood on paper after initial wiping. Minor insertion of paper into the rectum to dab for blood which might indicate bleedimg in that area produced just a tiny amount of blood only initially. It appears bleeding is completly seperate of the stool and bright red blood indicates exposure to oxygen before death of cells so perhaps its close or at rectum. I ve occasionally had externsl hemeroids but not more than just a touch of blood only wiping...like a dabing blood on the paper which obviously came from stress of movement associated with hemeroid or leason from the movement. The hemeroids are about 3 incidents a year increasing from inception at about age 43 to now at 47 with maybe 8 times a yr and have never ruptured to bleed...again only a dabbi g amount blood on paper similar to if you wiped too much or the like. 2nd movement with blood-7-16-15 730am same as 1st with no pain or fever. Though my stomach lower below belly button felt a tad quizy, it may be psycosematic. I have a bit of gas and when it is released the quizyness goes away. Eating lightly this went away. The next day after our hike, 4 hours after the 2nd movement, we are driving back to other side of canyon after hike, my anus feels a bit like there may be something internally right near the end that os irritated possibly a hemeroid. Except, all I m reading it says hemeroids are painful when they rupture. No pain. Even when there was inflamation or external hemeroids, they were not painful. Obviously need to see a doctor, but we are remote and so thought I would ask you. Thanks ps the web page said proceed so clicked and it loaded a new page without confirmation, so sorry if you get this twice. ..
