What Causes Dizzy Spells When I Get Up From Sitting Position?
Every time I have been sat down for 5 minutes or longer and I satmd up and walk a couple of steps suddenly I feel dizzy and everything goes black and my legs go all funny. I usually have to put a hand on anything Near me to stop me from falling down. This happens more then twice a day. Do I need to see a doctor?

He would have a clinical examination of you, including Blood pressure in different positions, Looks for clinical signs in the eyes and the limbs for associated problems.
He would advise you the tests according to findings.
He would also prescribe medicine to cope with the problem to start with and give definite treatment on getting the reports.
